Job Summary

As a Graphic Designer I at Fanatics Collectibles, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual designs that align with the company's brand identity and product development goals. This role requires strong creative skills and the ability to execute design projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with Art Directors, Senior Designers, and cross-functional teams to develop innovative designs for print media while maintaining brand consistency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Execution & Design Development

  • Assist in developing visually compelling designs for trading card products.
  • Execute high-quality layouts, typography, and compositions that align with brand standards.
  • Prepare production-ready files with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring adherence to print and digital specifications.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh design ideas that enhance product and brand storytelling.

2. Brand Standards & Quality Control

  • Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design projects.
  • Conduct quality checks on design assets before production and distribution.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, printing techniques, and new design technologies to enhance creative output.

3. Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with Art Directors, Senior Designers, Product Development, and Marketing teams to execute creative strategies.
  • Receive and apply constructive feedback to refine and improve designs.
  • Present design concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders when needed.

4. Learning & Growth

  • Continuously develop technical and creative skills by staying current with industry trends and tools.
  • Seek opportunities to learn from senior designers and creative leadership.
  • Be an engaged and active member of the creative team, bringing a positive and solution-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0-2 years of experience in graphic design, including internships or freelance work.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, typography, color theory, layout, and branding.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Basic understanding of print production, digital design principles, and brand identity development.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for sports, collectibles, and design is a plus.
